"Bills Paid Vacation" Sweepstakes

1. To Enter:  You have not won yet.  No purchase or obligation necessary.  The Sweepstakes begins 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on May 1, 2003 and ends 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on June 15, 2003.  To enter without purchase or obligation, complete entry form on the Pennsylvania Research Company website (www.paresco.com/vacation).  Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on June 15, 2003.  Entries limited to one (1) per household.  Entrants must provide a valid telephone number.  In the event of dispute over identity of the online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by holder of the telephone number on the date the entry was submitted.  All entrants will be automatically registered to receive the Thrifty Tips newsletter as described elsewhere within paresco.com.
2. Drawing:  On or about June 19, 2003, a random drawing from among all eligible entries received will be conducted by independent judges whose decisions are final.  Prize is guaranteed to be awarded.  Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
3. Prize:  One (1) Grand Prize to consist of minimum balance(s) of unsecured debt (two percent maximum) being paid for one (1) year or twelve (12) consecutive months.  Examples of unsecured debt are credit cards and department store cards.  Secured debt such as home mortgages, equity lines of credit, automobile or recreational vehicle loans are not eligible.  Sponsor will send payments directly to creditors.  Value of Grand Prize is approximately $6,000.  Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
4. Eligibility:  Sweepstakes open to all legal United States residents, eighteen (18) years of age and older, as of May 1, 2003.  Employees of the Pennsylvania Research Company (Paresco), its advertising and promotion agency, previous sweepstakes winners, Paresco affiliates and their immediate families (spouses and parents, children and siblings, and their spouses), and individuals living in the same households of such employees are ineligible.  Sweepstakes subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  By entering, participants acknowledge compliance with the official rules, including eligibility requirements, and agree to these official rules and accept decisions of Sponsor as final.  Mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices will be disqualified.  Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law.  This promotion is offered in the United States only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to United States law.  Do not proceed in this site if you are not located in the United States.  The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  All entries become the property of the Sponsor and may not be acknowledged or returned.
5. To Claim Prize:  Winner will only be notified by telephone and will be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and, where legal, a Publicity Release, which must be returned within seven (7) days after prize notification, or prize is forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.  If winner is not reachable through the telephone number they provide, the prize will be awarded to an alternate person in a random drawing.  Invalid telephone numbers automatically void the Sweepstakes entry.  Any unclaimed or undeliverable prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate person.  Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use winner's name, hometown, and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity in any media without additional notification or compensation.
6. Limitation of Liability:  Neither Sponsor nor their affiliated entities are responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials or transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction.  Winner is solely responsible for payment of all federal, state, and local taxes on prize and for any expenses not specifically mentioned in prize description.  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify Sweepstakes if fraud or technical failure compromises the integrity of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.  Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connections or fraud; incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmission whether caused by Sponsor, user, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the process of submissions which may limit a participant's ability to participate in this promotion.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute, in its sole discretion, any prize with one of reasonably equivalent value.  All federal, state, provincial and local regulations apply.  Void where prohibited or limited by law.  Sponsor and its affiliates assume no liability for losses, claims, damages or injuries stemming from use or acceptance of any prize.  Sponsor is not responsible for lost, misdirected, undelivered or delayed mail or printing errors.  Sponsor is not responsible for any fees that may be charged by creditor to winner's account(s).  Sponsor is not responsible for deleterious notes to winner’s credit file.  When a winner provides differing credit obligations than actual, Sponsor will use the lesser of the actual or estimated to determine payment(s).  Prize is limited to two (2) percent of total outstanding balance (up to $500) each month for twelve (12) consecutive months.  Winner is responsible for providing Sponsor with individual creditor information.  Sponsor will only pay for balances where winner is sole obligator; Sponsor will not pay for joint accounts.  Sponsor will only pay for unsecured debts such as credit card and department store cards.  Sponsor will not pay for secured loans such as (but not solely) automobile and recreational vehicle loans, student loans, home mortgages, housing payments, or home equity lines of credit.  Sponsor makes no claim that it will pay your bill in full, only two (2) percent of balance (up to $500) each month for twelve (12) consecutive months.  If winner is obligated to pay more than two (2) percent each month or more than $500 each month to a specific creditor(s), winner is responsible for additional payments above and beyond winning payment.  Payments are based on winner's outstanding balances on June 15, 2003.  Sponsor is not responsible for payment of debt/purchases incurred after prize is awarded.  Creditors limited to those listed on entry form.  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel Sweepstakes if less than 5,000 valid entries are received.
7. Winners List:  To request a Winners Name List, send a self-addressed, stamped return envelope, after June 15, 2003, to "Bills Paid Vacation," 5627 Sherwood Drive, Easton, PA 18040.  All requests must be received by June 30, 2003.  Vermont and Washington residents may omit return postage.  Winners Name List will also be published on the Pennsylvania Research Company website (www.pareseco.com/winners) after June 15, 2003.
